thanks your initiative for offering that possibility. I think it will
lower the pressure on the shoulders of my team mate Peter, who is
working on that project.

I think we can discuss a github mirror again, once we get support for
community extensions. However, I already see the problem that people
send pull-requests for the TYPO3 Core mirror, which really conflicts
with the infrastructure we're using with Gerrit.

Sorry, no git support for community extensions, yet - you get the point,
don't you? ;-)
