[TYPO3-dev] Gif Builder generating the wrong image

Hey guys,

Have you guys ever had any issues with Gif Builder generating the wrong images? For example we have these image tabs generated by Gif Builder. They're text with transparent backgrounds. But when Gif Builder generates these images it makes a white background instead of the transparent background. I have deleted all the cache files both in typo3temp and typo3temp/GB/ to see if it will regenerate these images. But I get the same issue. This did work recently. No major chances have been made. We are running 4.2.10 and I have gone into the install tools to test and debug there as well. 

Any suggestions on how I may hunt this bug down.
