[TYPO3-dev] Extension needed

Hello, I'm new to typo3.

I have installed a fresh version (4.0), which work pretty well. We use
an ldap authentification
based (OpenLDAP / macmade.net).

I try to setup a page which contain the public information of our ldap
directory (name, phone, etc)
I have try the boku_personen2 extension, but I'm unable to get it
working (with an unix openldap server). It seem that it's an old
version. I have some questions :

Is it possible to get the boku_personen2 extension working with a
typo3 v4 installation ?

Is there another extension able to do the job ?

Where is the documentation for the extension developper  ?

How to decompress a .t3x file ?
