Learning typo3 takes time. If you know it it saves time.

To add, edit and delete pages without the classes you need to consider and code
different tables and the relations between them, timestamps, flags, etc. You
would code TYPO3 a second time.

The best idea, if you don't want to learn TYPO3 yourself. But the task isn't
really small. I guess you will need to pay someone for this work.
