Robert,

this is again an example to the "secret" development model of TYPO3 that 
Patrick mentioned. I have neither seen a line of code of the new TER yet 
(in fact, I only gathered it's done from you asking for icons!), nor 
could one derive from Kasper's "never without GUI tools" that docbook 
could still be an option.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the finished products that Kasper and 
you bring in (like Workspaces, TV, etc.), but the fact that they are 
only released *as* nearly finished products discourages participation 
because even if you have opinions on how things should be done, they 
*are* already done and you need to legitimize your desire to change 
stuff which puts at least me off.

I know the reaction: "At least we actually come up with code and you 
don't" and that's true, but isn't there a possibility to give out code 
early so essantial changes can at least be proposed before things are 
finished?
