[Typo3-dev] TCEforms, type=group, wizard_add and filtering items

Hi!

There is a field of type "group". It can contain BE users and BE groups.
I need to prevent BE users from adding some users and some groups using
my own logic.

Fields of type "group" use wizard_add.php to add items to the SELECT
control. But it seems that there is no way to filter out records in
wizard_add. Am I correct?

Do I have to go with type=select and use itemsProcFunc to create a list
of valid users/groups instead?
