[Typo3-dev] on development of shop extension

I saw oscommerce. they have html mixed with php on all pages. So that it
makes it impossible to integrate it somewhere, unless you completely rewrite
it.

Also, I do not know why ppl are so excited about it. As a shopping system it
is much less flexible than tt_products.

Languages? you already have it with typo3.
Currency conversions? Another extension should be written.
Content in left and right column? HA! That's CMS task. Not for shopping
system.

Yes, I do agree that current tt_products has to be extended with features
and more flexible and intuitive frontend editing. But it has nothing to do
with OScommerce.

The problem is - no one here wants to deal with it, as it seems. Or no one
is ready to pay for this.

It's not that "huge" for typo3. Shopping systems has veery stable concepts
by now. And there's many many scripts for them. All there is to do - is to
put them in typo3 framework.
