Hi, as my contribution is rather small compared to others on the core
team, I usually don't get that much exposure on such events (only rare
moments of "oh, you are Ernesto"?).

I would be glad to contribute on those little "teams" doing something
around the core, so I welcome the idea and make myself available for
that. It just has to be "organized" somehow, I cannot go around calling
up people I don't know to do some team working. :)

About the core team itself, I guess it is a natural phenomena that the
core team "sticks together" in such events rather than spreading around
the "masses". Maybe that is why it is difficult for outstanders to "get
in touch". So having a dedicated event where this should not happen (the
mentioned coding night) would also have this nice side-effect.
