Hi,

I am trying to generate newsletters and send them to our list through
the Direct Mail Module. The newsletter is being generated from
http://www.case.edu.au/index.php?id=127, and the module seems to fetch
and compile the content fine.

Then when I go to actually send the newsletter to our recipient list (by
clicking on the Mailer Engine multiple times so that it gets to all 800
people), the email doesn't seem to get sent. Or at least it doesn't get
sent to me (at all three email addresses) or my boss; I've had an email
from one person on the list saying that he received the newsletter.

Then when I go back in to check the statistics of that mailing later,
the stats say that 800 were sent but none were opened and no one clicked
on any links.

What puzzles me even further is that the error log says:

[Mon Mar 19 16:44:50 2007] [error] [client 125.236.162.76] File does not
exist: /home/caseeduadm/case.edu.au/fileadmin/layout/typo3conf, referer:
http://www.case.edu.au/index.php?id=127

[Mon Mar 19 22:04:31 2007] [error] [client 129.94.6.29] File does not
exist: /home/caseeduadm/case.edu.au/fileadmin/layout/typo3conf

[Mon Mar 19 22:06:09 2007] [error] [client 208.97.185.123] File does not
exist: /home/caseeduadm/case.edu.au/fileadmin/layout/typo3conf

[Mon Mar 19 22:08:19 2007] [error] [client 208.97.185.123] File does not
exist: /home/caseeduadm/case.edu.au/fileadmin/layout/typo3conf

[Mon Mar 19 22:11:28 2007] [error] [client 208.97.185.123] File does not
exist: /home/caseeduadm/case.edu.au/fileadmin/layout/typo3conf

[Mon Mar 19 22:11:35 2007] [error] [client 129.94.6.29] File does not
exist: /home/caseeduadm/case.edu.au/typo3/t3lib

[Mon Mar 19 22:15:17 2007] [error] [client 60.229.40.140] File does not
exist: /home/caseeduadm/case.edu.au/fileadmin/layout/typo3conf, referer:
http://www.case.edu.au/index.php?id=127

But why is it looking in
/home/caseeduadm/case.edu.au/fileadmin/layout/typo3conf? That directory
doesn't exist; typo3conf lives in /home/caseeduadm/case.edu.au/typo3conf/.

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Also I'd be grateful if you
could bear in mind I'm not /that/ familiar with Typo3 so please don't
say, "Have you tried looking at the [insert gobbledygook]?" but rather
"Have you tried looking under ____________ which is usually located
___________?"

Many thanks,

Karen.
