Hi Roger, Bernie (and anyone else out there listening),

Yes, this could be an area of invesitgation. I'm thinking out of such
'tutorials' or 'faqs' one could come up with some more ideas for what
might be good extensions. We could come up with some useful tools that
haven't been thought of before, that will have 'newbie's' in mind. Who
knows?!

Yes. It must be my makeup, but bridging technology/implementation gaps
seems exciting. I guess it's a matter of looking in what's desireable,
what's needed and what's possible. That's also what usergroups are for :-D

Yes. Though, with Jetstar & Virgin, we could if possible arrange
sponsorship if we were going 'to conference'. I've done a lot of work for
the non-profit sector here in Qld (social services and community based
arts groups) who were able to get good prices provided the cause is
community focussed. That way distance won't be such a problem.

Yes. Do we have anything like a template for a constitution. I've also
been a chair and board member on a few community (housing & arts)
organisations. Consititutions help a lot to keep the group focussed and
goals clear as such groups grow beyond the original membership.

Again, what would the Typo3 people say about this? A Non-profit group for
Web Professionals who want to promote Typo3 and good website practises. In
the model that they've adpoted, they've separated the typo3.com and
typo3.org functions.

We could have something else other than typo3.com.au (we'll have to come
up with an idea for a domain name and maybe that could be the commerical
side of the venture that actually allows us to eat while doing all this
good work) for the Typo3 community. Any ideas?
