[TYPO3-workspace] Workspace Notifications

That's the bit that I am struggling with right now, it seems. So far I've  
not received any notifications, but email addresses are specified. Given  
that there is no other way of being notified (Via a BE user interface for  
example) I'm not sure if these are either generated and failing, or not  
being generated at all.

- Are the attempts to send emails logged anywhere specific?
- Can anyone tell me exactly where this checkbox is?

Do you know if anyone (In the workspace team, or outside it) has a  
coherent plan for a completed and functional task centre module? I haven't  
seen anything, but then I'm not the best when it comes to deciphering the  
information put up on Forge, so there's a high chance I could have missed  
something.

It would be foolish to write an extension if one is already in progress,  
so any leads on that would be great!
