Depends. Most likely trunk (currently still version 4.3) is the main
target for patches. This is definitly the case for new features.

Of course you can create a patch for any other version as well.

Probably clarify "staging" as the different stages of a record
(t3ver_stage)? Actually currently that(stage flag) already  mostly is
all the "workflow".

Maybe a small "Glossary" with all these words would make sense?

That is an issue/bug that likely happens whenever a hidden page from
another workspace is "in the way".

- ROOT
  - some hidden page
  - page we work here in ws whatever
    - subpage one in ws
    - subpage two in ws

IIRC someone said there's altready a bugreport and patch for this. Never
digged into it but just rearranged the tree. ;)

P.S.: Did you switch to docbook or are u still using plain old OO.writer?
