please opt-out then.

I was one of the people that decided that we should inform:

a) those who attended last typo3 conference
b) those who logged in within the last 365 to typo3.org

I am not sure if being informed about a TYPO3 Event is near to Spam.
Compared to the Nigeria, Viagra, Casino and Phishing Mails i see every
day in my inbox this E-Mail seems rather relevant to a person that has a
typo3.org account.

I will not start to explain on why and how the TYPO3 Conference is part
of the Activities that the TYPO3 community has and needs. And where
Marketing starts or communication ends.

We will add an opt out and terms of service to the typo3.org until end
of 2013.
