Being back at a PC, I was able to also dig into that issue. This is
currently a Gerrit bug:
https://code.google.com/p/gerrit/issues/detail?id=1872

Philipp Gampe already commented on that, however I don't see the problem
with deeper nesting (except that you need a large screen?).
