as far as typo3.it is concerned we (we made the first italina TYPO3camp a  
few weeks ago.. and were 60 develoeprs / users.. a big part of the active  
italian community) know that this website is not maintained anymore.. we  
are trying to contact its webmaster to (at least) update a bit.

i proposed to ask typo3.org if next version would be multilingual, so that  
we could just take care about managing typo3.org/it/
