Hi,

as I am currently not involved in core programming due to my final exams
starting in one week, I took the chance to look over different parts of
the typo3.org site during the last weeks, you might have noticed it, as
I posted my changes here in this list.

During the last time, I spent some time to create an improved document
index, especially for newbies. Thanks at first to Uschi from the IRC
chat, and to Patrick Gaumond. Both supported me in creating the page,
and structured the documentation logically together with me.
We wanted to create a guide "Learning TYPO3", structuring all documents
- from the basics, up to extension programming.

I have asked many people during the last week for feedback, and the
overall result was very positive. After talking with others, we thought
it made sense to replace the documentation entry page which was quite
technical, with a more end-user oriented page.

I am very eager to hear some comments, you can find the page at
http://typo3.org/documentation/ !

The page is a first attempt to clean up the "documentation mess".

Please post comments here, what you like, dislike, etc!

Greetings from Dresden :-)
Sebastian
