This wouldn't change even if there was an additional security-announcements
list. The reason why it is not available on the newsserver is that I
couldn't manage to set up read-only newsgroups (yet). Feel free to help me
with that.

However, since the traffic on typo3-announce is very low, I don't consider
this a big problem...
