I had a thought on it just before sleeping and I think that the handling 
for the rating of different versions is up to the extension itself - not 
the API, because there are to many different ways how to sum up the 
ratings of the versions - the API could only return the different 
ratings for the versions in an e.g. array. But in generall "versioning" 
should be possible by simply adding a related field to the rating-table.

What do you think?
