I think this needs to be made possible. That's our "interchange format", 
or our "interface" we need. Maybe we don't need "real" pages, but just a 
"virtual pagetree" for it. Internally, the data could be still stored as 
docbook or something like that. Would be difficult to implement though, 
but you already had this idea. So maybe we need a transparent solution 
which doesn't fetch the content elements/pages from a DB, but from 
DocBook/OASIS XML?
