but all files don't relate with pages at all.
Using certain content types Typo3 puts information files, which
relate with that content.
That information can be listed in Web > List module,
if someone just make a plugin for that.

That could be also in other module.
It is possible - and maybe there is a module for that -
which shows you, what files are linked to certain pages.

But that can shouw *only* files, which have relation in the database.
Only simple page - content - file -relations can be listed.
But that doesn't never tell the whole situatiation.

But because content elements can be shared, it is totally impossible
to make all covering records, which tells which file belongs to which file.

Trying to create covering list you would create net,
which nobody can undertand.

you can do it also using Typo3 when you create an new content element
and, which makes file links.

If you don't want to put in the same situation the file as a file link,
you can upload it to certain folder and make it later as a file link.

File browser is needed to show, what files you have in the folders
but it is not necessarily needed at all.

It is *not* necessary to switch between them if you edit pages and you
want to add images or other files to the content.

That is *not* necessary - you don't need necessary need file manager
to this taks at all!
When you make file links, you have direct access to folders, which are
normally used storing files, which are used in web pages.

>, and go back to your page.

you don't need to go to the page - newer. You don't newer need to swich
views if you want to add files to you page.

You just select, where you want to store temporarily files,
which you want to be linked.

Typo3 doesn't make for every page automatic own folder - if you mean
that. If you want that you must manually make own folder for
every page. But when you make file links you can at the same time make
new folders. As such folders don't relate into specific page.

totally unnecessary - I newer have done so!
I use file manager into other purpose.

You have not tested file links?
