Hi,

Just to make it clear: I don't want new zombie extension to be imported
either, I just say that for existing projects, it's good.
To be honest, I really don't care of old, unmaintained extensions
because I don't use them anyway. If one uses them I would be in favor of
finding some new maintainer or just drop it completely. But I know this
is horrific for some people :)
People using old extensions won't have them deleted, they just cannot
install them again from TER but if they use them on other websites, it's
simple to download the t3x from their and install it in another website,
this is why I think it wouldn't be such a big deal... But again, I
understand your point.
I just don't really the point of "removing them but not really removing
them, mark them with yet another special flag and so on". So to be
honest, I'd really be in favor of do some real good cleaning with a
grace period before actually invoking the final "DELETE" and then...
make life go further!
Cheers
Xavier
