[TYPO3-ect] lib/div & compatibility

Hey guys,

how about investigating the time for making lib/div stable instead of
discussing for days ;)

I don't know why it's so hard to bring lib/div to a level, where the
overall API for general development is fix and there will only be more
and more functionality added without breaking backwards compatibility.

I think there are already many developers out there that have used
lib/div and can tell by now, what should be changed/enhanced. Start a
survey, take this information and adopt the API accordingly. After that,
let the devs that contributed there experience test the new API and wait
for about 2 weeks and then and make it beta. After that, clean things
up, probably add some more features (that don't change default
handling), provide some general hooks for extending lib/div and make it
stable.

Then there is no need for huge discussions about various versions of the
same extension and how those could be handled.

I already developed 4 or 5 extensions based on lib/div and I'm going to
build my next one in about two weeks.

That's just my 2 cent to this discussion.
