Great. Thank you both. It's a perfect example, how simple it is, to connect
the template engine of your choice.

I will probably move it to class.tx_lib_smartyTemplateEngine.php during
one to the next updates to keep the namings consistent. 

I guess the requirements of tx_lib_phpTemplateEngine are not needed any
more.

Before the smarty version is getting to much out of date we should
consider to have our own smarty extension, maybe lib__smarty.
