Hi Ernesto,

ok, I mainly understand your arguments for/against a pear-folder, but ...

Why then handling prototype and script.aculo.us different? There is also 
at least one extension, which provides the necessary libraries 
(script.aculo.us). Why not raising it to a system-ext? Why not create a 
simple sys-ext for the json.php file and eliminate the contrib-folder?
