[TYPO3-ect] Forms status

Hello all,

As many may or may not have noticed, not much work on the Forms Library
has been done lately. For me, college started back up and I need to focus
on more jobs that generate income if my wife and I want to continue to
eat, drive my car, and go to college a few more years.
That being said, the team and I have come up with some nice ideas for at
least form generation and validation, so if anyone wants to take over the
role of coordinator, they are welcome to. I would still like to advise on
the topics that we already talked about within the team and help get
familiar with the code we already wrote.

I will try to update the forms wiki page to reflect those ideas, but at
least the form generating part can be summarized by the following
paragraph (already on the wiki, implementation - general):

In general, everything will be Object based. Developers can create objects
of form fields, fielsets, legends, etc, and then pack them all together.
This will be similar to Java's Swing API, where you can create a button,
configure it, and then add it to a panel, which you can then add to a
window frame, etc.

More thinking needs to be done on how to integrate validation and forms
and do automatic form generation by TS and TCA.

So if anyone would be willing to help, you are more than welcome to. Feel
free to email me or post on this list. Every once in a while you can also
find me on irc in #typo3 and #typo3-ect.

Christoph
