Can you provide a diff to what you had to change in the xajax JS file?

If it is of a general concern, so also relevant for non-TYPO3 sites that
use xajax, I'd suggest to get in touch with the developers of
www.xajaxproject.org, to make it available for future xajax releases.

If it is a "only-TYPO3" thing, would it be possible to extend the xajax
object in JavaScript by prototyping so that these prototypes could be
set from the ExtMgm, TSconfig or whatever in TYPO3 BE dynamically?
