Hello everybody,
as I mentioned in the dam mailinglist, I also would like to take part
in the development of a "gand unified DAM frontend / downloads /
gallery / whatever extension".
I could send about 5 - 10 hours per week on the adoption of my
extension.
You can have a look at my results under:
testportal.bus-netzwerk.de.
Maybe the frontend is not in a "stable" condition and many things
have to be done there, but it should be quite enough to show the
principal.
( Sorry it's just in german )
File - access is handeled over a pushfile like in the
alternet_securelink extension.
these features are planned and they will be realized soon :
-users can store their selections and filter criterias. So dynamic
user related lists can be created
- users can upload and categorize files
I also think about the following :
- relate DAM categories to other content (pages, news, adresses
etc. ) to have something like a universal hierarchical ordered data
repository.
But isn't there already planned something in that way ?
I don't use the DAM API or dam_downloads extension in any way. So we
should plan the "mash-up"
Send me a mail - I'll send you the code.
Thank you for any feedback.
