[TYPO3-ect] MVC / lib extension documentation and/or cases

Hi

I want to have a look at the 'lib' extension. I have had a look at the sxw
contained, but that is mostly about naming conventions etc. Is there
anywhere like a wiki or similar where I can find more information on how
you approached the development? And also, is it possible to have a look at
some client extension?
