Guys,

TYPO3 is setting up a jungle of URLs and Servers:

* central & TER: typo3.org, typo3.com, wiki.typo3.org
* news&mail: http://lists.netfielders.de/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo
* news2web-gateway (jive): http://support.typo3.us
* SVN typo3xdev: http://svn.sourceforge.net/
* Trac 1, cal: http://svn.webempoweredchurch.org:3000/calendar/downloads
* Trac 2, typo3xdev:  http://svn.t3.digitaldistrict.de

Just to name a few.

I think to bring some system into this, would make the communication
easier. It is not the task of the extension coordination team.

There is a team partly responsible for the servers:

http://typo3.org/teams/typo3org/working-groups/hosting/

I propose that you (Jeff, Andreas, Jan-Hendrik, ...) participate in this
team to get the servers better coordinated.

Targets:

* consistent scheme of server names
* common concept of mirrors and replication
* best technical solutions: SVN, trac, jive, ....


Wouldn't that be possible?
