Well, if the licenses would match and if technologies match, I wouldn't have
problems with TYPO3 basing on a modern framework. TYPO3 itself is more than a
framework. It is also a set of implementations, a community of developers, etc.

But it is unlikely that technologies of another basic framework will match in a
way that we could shift TYPO3 upon it. So we need to modernize the base of TYPO3
itself.
