I am strongl for including speaking URLs into the core.


One could even force records that one to make use of the feature to have an alias value which might be "auto-filled" on storing or on initialize.
That way it would be easier to track "unique URLs".
Also some plugins just require some parameters, e.g. if a page has only one type of plugin, it will not have others and if it is in the core the URLs could be written way better, especially if the use the same namspace.
Also, regarding the cHash because speaking URIs could basically do without the cHash on generating the URL at all, it would only need to be generated on loading the URL and need not to be verified.

However, I am against integrating realurl in the core. It really is not necessary as it is a TER extension anyway.
I think it doesn't matter to wait one more LTS for a good speaking URL solution.
