i think it's a perfect new concept !!!

whenever i have to build a new site i have three possibilities:
(i think, mostly 2.) or 3.) will be the selected options...)

1.) the oldest LTS version wich is long aproved with a shorter resttime
(next upgrade is necesary i.e. in about 10 month)
2.) the latest LTS version wich is short aproved with a longer resttime
(next upgrade is necesary i.e. in about 28 month)
3.) the newest developed EAR version (strict on the way to next LTS)
(some more updates are necesary, but ending in a stable LTS for 3 years)

PS: another Name for EAR (i like it) could be StableSnapShot (SSS)
