Allright, I found out that this change in phpunit-mock-objects causes 
trouble:

This commit is included in phpunit-mock-objects 2.1.2 and phpunit
phpunit 4.1.x has the following dependency:

"phpunit/phpunit-mock-objects": "~2.1"

we need to stay on 3.7.x until this has been fixed...
