If one was able to define a fixed set of CEs that are being positioned on a page this could make adding say landingpages a heck of a lot easier. Creating a page with result in not just asking WHERE to put the page but also what kind of page template should be used. I know Felix is busy centralizing the skinning API and could use a little help there as well.
