Haha. Ok - that was a bit too suggestive on my part :)
There's really no need to change it right now, as it's only an issue of formatting really.
What I do miss though are @global tags in the comments as it makes coding easier for me.

In the long run this should be the way how globals are replaced in TYPO3.

Is there something planned or in the works already?
