I was not used by any extension from TER, because TER removed that flag (due 
to the way the TER works).
So this only had effect if you tuned extensions locally.

Do you use 6.1-dev (master)? Then, please wait for the first beta before 
complaining about changing code.


BTW, people are benchmarking TYPO3, however high-performance sites are 
always a bit different than the usual site.

If the feature is so important for you, then you should work with Christian 
to bring it back to core. "Scratch your own itch"
