Please don't revert this! It's "backwards compatible". ;)
After all this is a logo/brand! It's not a logo/per version.

The website, our avatar's, everything changed the logo(or will if not
done yet). IMHO no reason to keep an old logo in any maintained release!

Obsolete/Unmaintained releases *can* (but don't have to) stay "as is" to
emphasize their "unmaintained" state.
