Since TYPO3 fetches it's extension list using an user-agent like this:
User-Agent: "TYPO3/" .TYPO3_version
it *could* be possible to differenciate the extension list on server
side (a couple of Apache conditions), so that we simply have static
extension lists for 4.5, 4.6, 4.7... This also makes the size of files
to be downloaded smaller.
