Michiels script would be a good start but afaik takes only care of
deprecated PHP functions. A script for that is pretty easy to write and
execute. The problematic part comes in when you think about TYPO3 API
functions that get deprecated (some with such nice distinguishing names
like "start"). I've been thinking a bit about that during the last few
days and will keep on doing so. If I come up with a clever solution I'll
let you know, meanwhile suggestions on how to write such a script are
welcome :)

cheers
