I prefer to have the "vision" where Neos will be heading and from which
point on we can it might be "feature complete" (to pick up that phrase)
in regards to essential features for regular use. Currently afaik there
are quite some open areas when it comes to the needs of normal/larger sites.

However I prefer to not try to "force" this upon people. Your email
could be read (maybe wasn't mean to be that strict) as if you suggest to
"close" the old TYPO3 at some point and only merge/release bugfixes. No
new features would be accepted anymore and no new version with a new
feature would be released anymore. That's why to me it sounded like
placing a "full stop" at that certain point of "feature completeness"
you mentioned.

If some core-members decide for themselves to make a switch and not
bother thinking about the "old" release anymore, not merging or
releasing stuff etc. that's fine with me - and of course it's a personal
and free decision for everybody.

So let's get Neos enhanced further and "convince" instead of "pursuade"
people to make the switch then.

Kind regards,
 Stefan
