Thanks for those. Do we agree that basically we won't ship XLIFF files 
with alpha2 as the localization server is not yet ready?

The problem shipping XLIFF files is that it prevents non-XLIFF files to 
be used for the translation. Idea would be to package alpha2 with XLIFF 
support but without .xlf files overriding/replacing the .xml ones.
