Hi,

+1 on testing (5.3.2-1ubuntu4.7 and 5.3.0 on Windows)

A little nitpicking on the reading:
- The comment '// Windwos php versions below 5.3.4 have a' contains a 
spelling error.
Apart from that, also +1 by reading.

Btw, do we still need the @copyright? Apart from the method name I don't 
think there is much left of the original code.
