I am in the real world... I wrote "should not". If they do require it, you
need to tell them about the consequences, including this one.

How developers are supposed to check this in TEr before they upload the
extension? I do such checks before uploading in EM.

So you car is not supposed to have a "Check engine" lamp because it is for
driving, right? :)
