Actually this has been done a while ago by a guy named Dimitri
Tarassenko, who produced RPM packages of TYPO3 which contained new test
images with fruits.

I must say I did like them very much, not only because they are more
neutral, but also because their image quality is much better (so it
qualifies more to check if IM/GD is good or not).

Anyway, back then I asked Kasper for permission to replace the images
with those from Dimitri. He replied to me that he wishes to keep the old
images, as this is a key reference to TYPO3 being his work.

I think we should respect this and keep the images. If you still insist,
please talk to Kasper first, do not change them right away.
