yes, also the readme in typo3/mod tells this a long time now.

Some new questions now rise up with the submodules: Should the sub 
module require the parent module? If eg func isn't installed but 
func_wizards is installed you won't see it.
On the other hand, to deinstall func you would need to deinstall all 
subs first.

Imho the dependency would be correct, but it would be cool if em could 
deinstall all "child" extensions in a row while deinstall the "parent" 
extension.
