Like Sebastian I thought it was customary to remove the functions a 
couple of versions after it was added to the deprecation log. So we 
should set a new version for removal.

pi_list_query() misses a call to logDeprecatedFunction()

And I hope the todo's will lead to an RFC in the near future ;-)

Great to see the deprecated stuff getting some TLC!
