[TYPO3-core] TYPO3 4.4 - Feature Freeze on April 13th - Get Your Features In

Hey developers,

this is a reminder that the feature freeze for TYPO3 4.4 is drawing 
near, but also an information that the feature freeze was postponed one 
week from April 6th to Tuesday, April 13th. On this date, the first beta 
release of TYPO3 4.4 will occur. The final release will still take place 
on June 22nd, 2010.

Please make sure that all your features that you want to have in 4.4 are 
ready as RFCs with patches in the TYPO3 Core list. Motivate others to 
review your patches, while also make sure that you help reviewing their 
patches.

However, there are a few exceptions of features that are allowed to be 
added to the Core later than the Feature Freeze (if necessary):

  * Backend Skinning and Sprites API / New Icons + Sprites / Reworked t3skin

  * Refactored and updated Installer and 1-2-3 Install-Tool.
