Tested with "branches/TYPO3_4-2" and trunk. Both show the described bug,
and the fix works as expected.

Attached are two diffs. One against trunk and one against 4-2. I
recreated the diff, because the patch from Jörg used "\" instead of "/"
when specifying the filename for the "diff" tool, which caused my linux
"patch" problems finding the file.


+1 from me. If noone objects I will commit this tomorrow to trunk.

Ingo: Is a commit 4.2 also ok for you? It is a bugfix, not a feature.
Except you would see problems caused by spaces in webroot path not as a
bug, but rather supporting them as a feature.
