curing the symptome is not always the best way to fix something....

I get this error, too.

in function MEDIA you use quite often something like 
$conf[$conf['type'] . '.']
$conf['type'] is "video" or "audio", but where should $conf[video.] come
from? it's never set.
seems that there's something missing in your patch - assumed that it works
at least for you.
