Hi,
if a look around on my desktop (Linux with KDE) every icon for save action
is a 3,5" floppy disk. Its very common for this action.
Its the only motivation for change, that floppy is out?
What are the alternatives?
A modern USB-Stick is IMHO not a better icon, neither a CD.

GIMP: 3,5" floppy
Kontact: 3,5" floppy
Amarok: 3,5" floppy
OpenOffice.org: 3,5" floppy
Firefox: 3,5" floppy
Cheers
Stefano
